- To compete at a Horse Trials or Three Day Event you need to be a member
of HorseTrials Canada-Quebec and the Féderation
Equestre du Quebec, or an equivalent association in
another province or state. If you do not want an annual HTC
membership, you may purchase a single event membership on site (once
per year) for $25.
- To compete in an Equine Canada (formerly Canadian
Equestrian Federation) recognised Division (Training and up), you must
have an EC competitive license. Your horse requires a passport with
the current year’s horse license sticker. Horse owners are also
required to have EC, FEQ and HTC memberships.
If you plan to compete at ‘Les Jeux
Équestres ( pre-training & training levels) you must be
member of your regional equestrian association. Regional equestrian
associations are picking up their representative riders amongst their
members for the games.
- If you pay your membership dues at a competition, please request a
receipt. Sometimes bookkeeping is not as fast as it should be
– your receipt can be used as proof of membership until you receive
your membership card.
